April Feature of the Month: Automated User Administration

by VPNHaus | 04/09/2013 |Industry Commentary, IT policy, VPN

In this month’s installment of our Feature of the Month series, we’ve decided to shine the spotlight on Automated User Administration, found in the NCP Secure Enterprise Management system.

When new employees are brought onboard, there are a number of tasks IT administrators must complete to get them set up and ready to hit the ground running. This has been the case for decades. But today’s increasingly mobile workforce has placed even more critical tasks at the feet of IT personnel, particularly related to security and productivity.

This includes installing VPN clients and making individual configurations for a wide range of end devices, configuring the VPN gateway, assigning users with provider identifications, requesting and issuing certificates to users, creating entries in RADIUS and/or LDAP and endpoint policy tools, and much more.

Streamlining this administration process frees up IT personnel to focus on more pressing matters, such as innovating new ways to help their companies, while enabling new employees to do the same.
